A bulging yellow envelope awaited us on Mrs. MacLeod's desk this past week, full of mysterious treasure. Everyone couldn't wait to get a hold of the postcards. The excitement could rival that of Christmas Day! Students received postcards nicely written in cursive and even received a beautiful bracelet. What a treat!
The students were so happy to get their postcards and handmade bracelets. It was nice to see the big smiles on their faces and they read and shared their cards.

We are really glad they liked them. Postcards which show several locations in Colombia were selected by each student and the bracelets are typical local artisan work which use the colours of the Colombian flag.
