Seeing as to how our school's population is predominantly (mostly) Taiwanese, the bulk of our recipes are Chinese dishes. With the recipes, we hope you can get a taste of our culture and experience the delicious food that is found in Taiwan. The Taiwanese are very serious about eating and that's why it comes as no surprise that it ranks in the top as one of country's favorite leisure activities.
Students had 3 options to choose from:
- Typing out the recipe
- Typing out the recipe with pictures included
- Making a video with the recipe
Two of our students, both coincidentally named Ethan, took to the challenge and produced fantastic videos on "how-to" cook a Chinese recipe. Check out our little chefs!
Ethan Peng,
ReplyDeleteLove to see a chef in the making.. I now see the mistakes I made in my attempt to cook your country's dishes (not separating ingredients once they've been pre-cooked). Thanks so much for this. The kids will love it, and perhaps even cook some of these recipes in their homes. Is that your baby sibling on the stool? So cute. Ms. Williams
Dear Ethan Peng,
DeleteIt looks yummy!
My mom never let me use fire alone. I wish I could cook by myself like you. That is my dream!
You are such a great chef! I wouldn't be able to handle such a big pan.
Wow!

Dear Ethan Wang,
ReplyDeleteYour fried rice looks almost as good as mine, but I think it tastes better. We should cook together.
Sincerely,
Ethan Peng
Dear Ethan,
ReplyDeleteIt is yummy!

Kimberly
